Building
The work getting active engineering time right now.
- Portfolio site v0.50: 217 repos on Astro 7 and a Contabo VPS. New this month: a case studies page that reads its stars, downloads and release dates from the GitHub data at build time
- AI services: shipping fractional implementation engagements through Parker AI, including workflow automation and team training
- The Hush patch bundles: nine of them now, covering Facebook (app and web), Messenger, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Telegram, Pinterest and Tumblr. Each release pins one app version and gets walked through on real phones before it ships
- Healthcare support: PACS/DICOM migrations, hosted-service cutovers, and the documentation that makes them repeatable
- OpenRadar: open weather workstation with Tauri 2, React 19, and raw radar data. On hold since late September while the Hush releases ship
Thinking About
Ideas, tradeoffs, and product questions still being shaped.
- How to show AI-assisted work honestly without either hiding or overclaiming it
- What a case study can say when the client work stays private: the problem, the build, the change, and only the numbers a reader can check
- The right balance between "ship many things" and "maintain what shipped"
Listening
What is setting the mood for the work outside the code editor.
Whatever keeps the focus going. Lately it's been a lot of ambient stuff and lo-fi.
Deliberately Not Working On
The constraints I am keeping in place to protect focus.
